Authoritative record — the version of a record that carries legal effect within the register's governing legislation.
Notice-based registration — a model where the register records what is lodged without verifying the underlying transaction.
Disclosure tier — the configured level of access applying to a field or record: public, authorised or protected.
Provenance — the recorded history of how a record reached its current state, including who changed it and under what authority.
