Privacy notice
RegiGov works with institutions that hold some of the most sensitive records in public life. We hold ourselves to the same standard for information collected on this site. RegiGov is a product of Indigitise.
Scope of this notice
This notice explains how RegiGov handles personal information collected through regigov.com.au. It does not cover information held inside registry systems operated by our clients — those systems are governed by the relevant institution's own privacy framework and legislation.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide directly through the enquiry form: name, work email, organisation, role, country or jurisdiction, area of interest, timeline, and the content of your message. We also collect limited, aggregated analytics about site usage where you have consented.
How we use information
Enquiry information is used to respond to your request, to understand the registry context you are working in, and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not sell personal information and we do not use enquiry content for advertising.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the consent banner. Essential cookies required for the site to function are always active. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Storage, retention and security
Personal information is stored in access-controlled systems and retained only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Access is limited to RegiGov personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry.
Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to delete it. Requests are handled within the timeframes set by applicable privacy law.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the relevant privacy regulator in your jurisdiction.
